Ketawala ICT &
English Centre Opened
The
Ketawala ICT & English Centre, in Kurunegala District of Sri Lanka, was
opened on
May 15, 2008. It will benefit the schoolchildren as well as the members of village
community. The
project is a joint venture of LearnAid with ICT Agency of Sri Lanka
and the Weerasinghe Foundation (KRWF) of Mawathagama. The centre comprises a
computer training unit, a lecture hall, and a nenasala (an ICTA scheme
for Internet and computer access to the community).
We
give a helping hand to the deserving to come up through education. The areas
of interest to us are learning English language and computing skills. We work
as partners in educational projects that show promise.

LearnAid
is a multi-nationality, not-for-profit organisation based in Kuwait.
Members of LearnAid come from many professional, religious, ethnic
and cultural backgrounds.
LearnAid
conducts English language and computing skills classes for selected residents
in Kuwait. The classes are offered free of charge.
