EDUCATION PROJECTS IN KUWAIT
Computer Skills Course
LearnAid's Basics of Computer Skills and Introduction to MS Word course has become very popular with Sri Lankan expatriates resident in Kuwait. Because of the practical-based format of the sessions and the limited number of computers available, we limit the total admitted to each unit.
A session is also devoted to the Internet and emails.
Trainees who completed the basic level course successfully receive the opportunity to follow courses on PowerPoint and Excel.
Each student is required to do a practical project as part of the course.
The students first learn to assemble the computer set up. They then go to creating files and folders, storing documents in different forms of media, and creating, formatting and printing MS Word documents.
LearnAid helps selected residents in Kuwait in learning new skills by conducting a series of courses.
A course unit on improving writing and comprehension skills is also offered.
We help the deserving in learning English language and computing skills.

Educational Project

This web site is sponsored by Kuwaiti Canadian Consulting Group, P.O.Box 13586 Kaifan 71956, Kuwait (email: admin@kccg.com), in support of LearnAid's activities and projects promoting education for the deserving.
LearnAid is a multi-nationality, not-for-profit organisation, with members coming from many professional, religious, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
English Language Course

LearnAid’s English teaching programme started in 2005. Because of the high demand, the course has been repeated a number of times. We have been able to offer the classes free of charge mainly because the teachers donate their expertise without expecting a fee.

The first course unit in the series is Basic Conversational English. It aims to train the learners to be able to use English language in day-to-day conversation. The sessions are based on simulated encounters.
