MANAGEMENT
OF LEARNAID AFFAIRS
The
Management Committee of LearnAid functions with Mr. Tariq Al-Jassim,
Managing Director, Cargo Transport Systems Co., Mr. Musaad Y. Al Hamad, Managing
Director, Raith Engineering & Manufacturing Co., and Mr. Victor Ramanan,
Manager, Raith-CTS Logistics as its Patrons.
Sponsorships and obtaining financial
support are coordinated by Victor Ramanan, while Gamini Premadasa looks after
the educational planning aspects assisted by Arjuna Ellepola. Financial
LearnAid started as a group of friends coming together and working
on the basis of mutual trust. We continue on the same principles today.
management is in the hands of Jayantha Premasekera, with Riaz Mohamed being
responsible for auditing. Jayantha also coordinates LearnAid's activities
in Australia and Sri Lanka.
Organisation of specific events is handled by ad hoc committees. Mark
Fernandes coordinates the activities connected to these, assisted by Gia Fernandes.
We
help the deserving in learning English language and computing skills.
