LearnAid
is a multi-nationality organisation. It evolved from a group of friends from
many nationalities who have volunteered to help in education-promoting activities.
Members do not pay a membership fee. We are selective in deciding who gets enrolled
as a member of LearnAid. Prospective members need to be personally
known to an existing member and be recommended as those
Nationality, educational level,
ethnicity, religious affiliation, profession, etc. are not considerations
to join LearnAid. We have nationals from Cyprus, Ecuador, India,
Kuwait, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, UK, and USA among us.

LearnAid
was formed by a group of friends interested in helping the deserving to further
themselves through education.
There are two categories of
members in LearnAid: Full Members and Associate Members. Full members
are those who are fully committed to taking over responsibility for the different
activities and also are in a position to devote time to plan and organise
them. The rest are Associate Members.
